Before and after photos of the basement man cave.

Here’s one side of our basement just before we moved in around July 2008. There was some demo and clearing out to be done, the remains of the old drop ceiling removed.  I did that the first year we lived there.  Then last summer I painted the basement, both this side and the other side (with the workshop, wine closet, and laundry space).

And here is the basement man cave.  I have better photos, but this one has the dehumidifier in the shot and the door open.  The floor is covered in garage paint, the walls with leftover colors from our rooms upstairs.  All the books have been moved down here, as well as the guitar crap and the second-string stereo and vinyl.  I’ve been playing some more guitar and plan on writing some things down here.

Here is a slightly better shot. Notice the Flesh Gordon poster on the red wall. This is where all the rejected art will be displayed.
