From WhoSampled.com: Billy Squier’s “Big Beat,” sampled through space and time.

There goes my afternoon.

WhoSampled.com ‘explores and discusses the DNA of music,” meaning mostly the samples of songs used in others.

One sample that’s used everywhere is Billy Squier’s “Big Beat,” from his early album his first solo The Tale of the Tape. This is before Don’t Say No, before Emotions in Motion, before the pajama-writhing, career-ending performance in his “Rock Me Tonight” video.

Check out the post for “Big Beat” here.
