These covers of the John Deacon-penned ballad from A Kind of Magic–and featured prominently in the first Highlander movie–are most probably inspired by a cover by Stevie Ann. She’s Dutch. The single-only cover came out in 2006, and I suppose it launched a lot of covers of her version. Here’s some favorites.
