Original 1972 studio version:
Choice comment from fatpizzaman:
Definitely a great but oven overlooked 70′s rock classic – should be up there with the likes of “Anarchy In The UK” and “Stairway To Heaven”! I don’t know if it’s been covered, but I didn’t really dig what the Utah Saints did to it in 1995 when the Greatest Hits album was released. The Osmonds still rock today, especially Donny who’s still got the devoted following he had back in the 70′s. Ah, bless him!!
A folk version from what I can only assume is an insane person with a theramin, John Otley:
Consider me a fan.
KMDFM doing their version.
A comment writes that the riff in this song is “nearly identical” to Slayer’s “Angel of Death” Not sure if they mean the fast one or the slow breakdown one sampled in Public Enemy’s “Channel Zero.” Either way I don’t see it.
