Check out this link. This is the first real confirmation that there really will be a Freddie Mercury film. Besides the usual who-will-play-Freddie casting rumors–Sasha Baron Cohen and Johnny Depp, for instance–and Brian May’s cryptic comments, there’s been no corroborations it will happen.
And on top of that, to hear that Michael Cunningham–author of The Hours, Pulitzer Prize-winner–has penned the first draft of the screenplay, both on that site and here, is really exciting.
