For those of you, like me, who may not be able to afford the Rolls, some enterprising eBayer has put up for sale–you guessed it–Kleenex Mansize Tissues. This vendor is selling the boxes half-used and “a bit squashed” so as to be “just like the one’s in Freddie Mercury’s Roll’s Royce.”
According to the Rolls’ eBay listing, the owner is Freddie’s sister (Jeri Bulsara, not specified), and the seller is a third party. I’m actually thinking about bidding on one of the Rolls’ seller’s items he or she has bought in the past: Somersets Ez-shave Shaving Oil, (BuyItNow price: GBP 2o), an “E-Cloth cleaning system 5 pack – 4 Gen Purpose/ 1 glass” (BuyItNow price: GBP 13.99), and a copy of Phillip Pullman’s The Subtle Knife in “fantastic condition” (winning bid: GBP 2.93; good catch, loretta0708!). I believe the politically correct term for this genre of book would be “speculative condition.”
